Hi all !

I am glad to meet you again after a short break with a simple easy recipe, the baby corn pepper masala fry cooked in a healthy way with few ingredients.


Baby corn is a cereal grain taken from corn (maize) picked much before the maturing stage, which is low in carbohydrates, negligible fat, low calorie veggie diet with important nutrients, ideal for losing body weight and can be cooked in various methods. #BabyCorn #HealthyRecipe #PepperMasala

Cooking time

Prep - 5 minutes

Cook - 15 minutes


Ingredients

  • Baby corn - 8 to10

  • Onion -1

  • Tomato -1

  • Green chilli -1

  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp

  • Black pepper powder - ½ tsp

  • Red Chilli powder - ½ tsp

  • Cumin powder - ½ tsp

  • Salt - ½ tsp

  • Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp

  • Cooking oil - 3 to 4 Tbsp


Prep work


Slice the baby corn length wise and then chop into smaller semicircular pieces.


Cooking method

To a heated pan add 2 tbsp of oil.

Once the oil is hot add the baby corn and stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes over medium flame and keep aside.


Then add 2 tbsp of oil to the same pan . Once the oil is hot add the chopped onion and green chilli, sauté for 2 minutes over medium flame .

Then add the ginger garlic paste, sauté for a minute.


Next add the chopped tomato and sauté for another 2 minutes.


Then add the turmeric and salt, sauté for another minute.


Now add the fried baby corns and stir for 2 minutes and then add pepper powder, chilli powder, cumin powder and stir fry for another 3 minutes.


Finally temper with curry leaves and transfer to a serving plate.


Your yummy healthy baby corn pepper masala fry is ready.
