Hi all !! Here is a quick simple recipe, but has tremendous nutritious benefits, prepared with few ingredients like onion, tomato, green chilli, Indian masalas and egg as a main ingredient which is made to cook along into a fine scrambled podimas.

Chicken egg is cooked regularly in various forms. Here I am presenting in a poriyal(sauteed) form.

Cooking time :
Prep time - 5 minutes
Cook time - 10 minutes
Egg podimas / Egg bhurji
Ingredients:
Eggs - 5
Onion - 2
Tomato - 3
Green chilli -1
Coriander leaves few
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - ¼ tsp
Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
Salt - 1 tsp or as required
Cooking oil - 2 tbsp
Prep work
Wash the required vegetables in clean water.
Chop it and keep aside.
Cooking method:
To a heated pan, add the oil, and once the oil is hot add the chopped onions, green chilli and saute for 2 minutes over medium flame until it becomes translucent.
Add the ginger garlic paste, coriander leaves and sauté for a minute.
Now add the chopped tomatoes and saute until it becomes soft and mushy.
The next step is to add the masalas - coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, then salt and saute for 2 minutes.
Now add the eggs one by one and keep stirring until it breaks down to fine scrambled pieces. Once the eggs are well cooked, switch off the flame and transfer to a serving bowl.
Your yummy, healthy quick egg podimas is ready to dine.
Egg Podimas can be paired with cooked rice along with rasam and chapathi.
