Nourishing mixed Vegetable soup

Ingredients:-

  • Green beans -10

  • Carrot -2

  • Beetroot- half

  • Cabbage - a small quantity

  • Shallots -5

  • Tomato -small size -1

  • Mint leaves

  • Coriander leaves

  • Garlic - 3 pods

  • Ginger - a quarter inch size

  • Black pepper 1/4 tsp

  • Jeera - 1tsp

  • Saunf - 1/2 tsp

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

  • Salt as required

  • Lemon juice 1 tsp


Method



First wash all required vegetables. Peel the skin of carrot beetroot. Cut the vegetables as shown in pic







Place all the cut vegetables in a pressure cooker and add 4 cups of water ( 800ml)

• add the pepper jeera ginger garlic saunf

• add turmeric powder

• Close the cooker and put weight valve

• Cook until 5 whistles

• Open once pressure released

  • Smash nicely add salt and lemon juice and Strain it well.


  • Transfer to soup bowl ,decorate with coriander leaves

  • Enjoy your healthy nourishing soup

  • Best results if taken on empty stomach.. which I usually do 😀
