Special Hundredth day of Dr.Bella's Cuisine



It is such a delight to present today’s dish to all my lovely friends who have been supporting and encouraging me from the very beginning of this journey of being a doctor who loves to blog about the food she whips up !


The reason for this extra special introduction is that today is an extra special day. It’s the 100th day of Dr.Bella’s Cuisine and we are absolutely thrilled!


Ever so grateful to everyone of you for the likes, comments, shares, suggestions and enthusiasm. It is so very deeply satisfying to realise that we have posted so many recipes in the last hundred days. Dr.Bella’s Cuisine has given me a pleasurable way to channel my passion for cooking healthy home made food and my professional interest as a doctor in promoting healthy lifestyle as a way to prevent diseases and Ill-health. It has also helped me share knowledge about the nutritional value and health benefits of the dishes posted here, which I sincerely hope benefits everyone and increases our awareness about the food we regularly consume. Hopefully this continues a long time and we can discover healthier and yummier food together !

Special days make sweet memories, what better way to relish them than with an unforgettable Sweet Treat?


We started Dr.Bella’s Cuisine off starring the sweet root- beetroot in an all time favourite, the Beetroot Halwa. So we thought it’s only fitting that today I would share my childhood favourite sweet dessert, perfect for all festive occasions - The Basundhi.
